    I never really find that i NEED acceptance from others. In fact i find myself wanting the opposite really. It's not like i dont have any friends or a loving family but i simply don't find myself feeling or wanting to be accepted by them at all.

    My roommate on the other hand is like that chart in physical form. He simply cannot live without acceptance from others and my god he has anxiety attacks often. Pisses me off sometimes how he always seeks people that agree with him.

    I'm 27 and I'm still missing stuff from the bottom two tiers: Sex, and security of money, employment, and body to a minor extent.

    But because of the economic bullshit and rich/poor gap, most Americans are now missing the safety tier as well, while very few people enjoy all that security.

    What does that say about our society?
