  • Kimmo Alm aka "Sysop" from AnT has been spamming us for YEARS now, and has recently stepped it up. This shit has got to fucking stop. As promised, here are all of the e-mails he has sent me over the years (and my responses).

We've done all we can do about him. We've banned THOUSANDS of proxies, and deleted OVER A HUNDRED THOUSAND spam posts. His attacks continue though, and we've reached the limit of what we can do.
edit: we aren't going to add captcha.

Is techno tolerated more in Europe than in the US? I've noticed majority of my friends, clubs I visit, and music on the radio in the US is predominately hiphop, rap, and rock.
    >> Anonymous 03/15/10(Mon)09:07:58 No.7914236
Yes, Europe is electronic music land.
    >> Anonymous 03/15/10(Mon)09:08:42 No.7914244
I thought techno was something stereotypical Europeans only listened to like... back in the early 90's.

    Yes.

Think of it like this, music had to evolve from somewhere. In america, rap evolved from nigger music.

In europe, they didn't have nigger music. They barely even had jazz, so they were left with the remnants of classical music (romantic music), which slowly evolved to electronic (or devolved, whatever).

And yet those people listen to rap.

    Depends where you go to.

In England they tend to be more into their Metal/Rock.

    Netherlands is full of GoA/Psytrance.

In Scandinavia everybody listens to Black/Doom Metal and Psytrance while smoking up and developing free software thats far superior to Microshit.

White people love techno because you can just dance without worrying about the beat, because who can move at 130 bpm. So any movement looks good and you dont have to move your hips too much.

However, for dancing, you definitely need techno/electronica/electronic music in general. Hip hop and rap are shit tier when it comes to dance music.

I live in the UK and a quick simple example of the change in eletronic music would be

    1996 - Prodigy - Breathe
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_PAHbqq-o4

    2006 - Prodigy - Breathe - Numbernin6 Dubstep remix
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoHn2vmxKks

The second link isn't as old as '06 and (afaik) ironically is done by an american DJ, but it's a good example of the style of Dubstep which itself is a breed of DnB.
