Apparently I look and act like Ugly Betty. Not really a nerd, but still in the socially awkward realm.

I have to wear glasses, but they go well with my overall 'look' so it isn't a big deal. Outside of the occasional nerdy t-shirt I don't think I fit the stereotype at all.

I like to read a lot, and I'm into politics but I have more 'social' interests too. I'm socially well-adjusted, although I'm introverted at times...and I hate dancing.

That's about it though.

Physically, I look totally normal and dress fashionably, except I wear thick black glasses all the time except for dates and parties. Other than that, I'm very much your typical nerd - introverted math major, enjoys D&D and M:tG, just quit WoW. I'm also very into BDSM, which isn't part of the stereotype even though it seems incredibly common among nerds... go figure.

Physically, it's a definite negative. I'm a short, thin, decently-attractive girl. Aughyeah.

Although; I also spend most of my time studying mythology for fun, have an extensive knowledge of the Marvel multiverse, and have an entire wall of Star Wars merchandise crammed into the promotional metal shelving from the 90s.

My DVD collection is debatable, since it's becoming something of a trend to enjoy bad Scifi.

Pretty typical when it comes to my interests. I get excited about science, history, and linguistics. I read alot of books. I also get really excited when people around me talk about comic books, it happens rarely and they never like anything cool but I don't mind. Same goes for Star Trek...I was glad when the recent TOS movie came out because it had the potential to create some more fans. I do good in school, I like scifi, I don't go to parties, I carry a gameboy around, and I'm skinny and look alot younger than I am.

As for anti-stereotype, I do go outside occasionally, I haven't played a whole lot of D&D, I'm not real good at math, I'm a non-ugly womanfolk and I don't wear glasses. Otherwise I'm pretty unmistakably geeky.

If I had to compare my 'seen-on-tv nerd'-ness to anyone's it'd probably be a mix of Moss, Roy and Jen on The IT Crowd.

I'm not a nerd in any sense, I just dabble in the 'culture', stuff like comics, cartoons, vidya and all that stuff.

I don't fit the stereotype, but I'm unmistakably a nerd. I tend to pick and choose from various nerdy activities, not really following any trend or getting too engrossed in any one thing.

Star Wars is ok, and I never got into star trek much. I like cult classic, sleeper hits, and indie games more than big stuff like that though. The only two huge nerdy things to hold my interest for an extended period are Pokemon and WoW, though I quit WoW about a year ago. I like reading, drawing, and painting. I collect toys and display them around my room. My most normal activity is my love for driving and working on cars.

TV nerds can suck my dick.
