We're all
shyfags. Some are fine with that, most kid themselves into thinking they
are, quite a few absolutely hate themselves to the core and I'm one of
them. All of them will go far, far out of their way to avoid human
contact.
Here's a simple experiment you can try: the next time
you see someone on /r9k/ or elsewhere whine about how they don't have
any friends, tell them that you'll offer to talk with them on AIM, MSN,
GTalk, or some other instant messaging service. Sometimes they'll take
the bait and whine for an hour about their problems before removing you
from their friends list, but more often than not, they'll pretend to
ignore your post. |
