  • Since I've been on a Q&A kick in /a/ and /r9k/ recently, I've decided to set up a formspring account for publicly answering 4chan related questions. You'll find it linked in the navbar as "?", and located here: formspring.me/4chan. Also, if you use Twitter, please follow @4chan. As always, I can be contacted via e-mail at moot@4chan.org (Despite the common misconception, I check it frequently and read every message I receive. Nobody seems to e-mail me about anything other than being banned though ;_;)
EDIT: Site went down due to a hardware issue. Should be fixed now.

    GOOD EATS:

    >Televisions best cooking show. Informative, funny, entertaining, bad ass.

    or

    >Elitist garbage. Annoying, cheesy, and overall channel-switch.

    A nice balance of both.
    >> Anonymous 02/26/10(Fri)18:23:02 No.7672117
i'm gonna go with both options.
    >> Anonymous 02/26/10(Fri)18:23:53 No.7672132
TV's best cooking show? Nah. Informative and entertaining? Yes.

    (Definitely cheesy, as well.)
    >> Anonymous 02/26/10(Fri)18:24:23 No.7672141
I like the desserts they have.

    Very delicious.

Alton Brown is definitely my favorite Food Network face. Although, a lot of the time you can tell he's NOT an expert in what he's teaching (ex. the homebrewing episode...shudder).
    >> Anonymous 02/26/10(Fri)18:27:56 No.7672184
Best TV cooking show by a longshot. Finally, cooking shows with instruction and information instead of a hot bitch/old southern woman/personality (rachel ray, emeril)

If you like cooking shows, checking this old treasures from the discovery channel and PBS are a MUST, you will be hooked.

I like him more because he makes cooking a science instead of an art.

He respects the history, science, purity, and tradition of food.

That makes him awwright in my book

One of the only people in this world who manages to combine informative science, quirky humor, and delicious, simple cooking into one

You faggots can only wish you were as successful as this man.
    >> Anonymous 02/26/10(Fri)18:48:20 No.7672411
alton brown is a living encyclopedia of food science and is a joy to watch. his show rules and his iron chef commentary only further proves it.

he's ok. while i appreciate the whole science/food combo he does, the humor and campy 'skits' can be pretty stupid sometimes.

i'll watch if there's nothing else on.
