i got really irritated by the machine that got stuck in the end of 2012. none of the last second, exploding earth stuff got me. but there is no way, that tine machine could stop cogs that size, it's just so insanely ridiculous. i kinda liked that movie up until that point, but now i hate it

Whenever I watch hells kitchen, that show gives such a bad name to cooks. I watched one episode where 8 chefs cleaned like 45 shrimp in 10 minutes.

I was raging fucking hard at how poor that display was. I worked at a seafood place for 2 or so years in my career and after the first month you learn how to plow through boxes and boxes of shrimp less then an hour, and these chefs couldnt do 80 properly in 10 minutes.

I know its a gimmick show and they hire retards, but come on, peeling and deveining shrimp is like the thing you learn after peeling potatoes in the kitchen.

This is innaccurate because few decent chefs have attitudes like the ones in this show, only the sloppy and poor chefs do. In a professional kitchen if you did the jobs these guys did, you'd be out on your ass in a minute.

Hell, some episodes they can't even get a single fucking appetizer out. Its embarrassing.

Fucking Gordon Ramsay, the F word and the original Kitchen Nightmares were such good shows, now I can't even watch his American stuff.

poster you replied to here. i feel the same way. i don't even pay attention to any of the details of what they are doing, i watch it because the characters are interesting. that's why i get kind of mad when people say that the show sucks because there are so many things wrong with it. there are a hundred things wrong with EVERY show or piece of cinema, but that doesn't stop a lot people from enjoying it.
