But holy shit, we've got the best economy in the nation by far. We're almost unaffected by the recession. We have very little taxation on people or businesses and no income tax at all. Business is a-booming and our big cities have very low costs of living compared to similarly-sized cities elsewhere in the nation (Houston is ridiculously cheap to live in for a city of its size).
