thats pretty common, in todays day and age, especially with males. you should be thankful you have the comfort to piss away your money on drugs. i am kinda living that life now, and i am damn grateful because i don't want to deal with real world shit. i am confident that i have the capacity to, but its a big hassle and i am not required to do it yet. if you want to get past this you kinda have to force yourself into a situation that will force you to make some real life changes.

depends on what you do. i just smoke pot, because i'm a nervous, shy person, and pot makes me a bit more outgoing and personable without inhibiting my judgment like alcohol, and so far i feel i could quit without any serious withdrawals or relapses. harder drugs would probably lead me down a bad path, though, they fuck up your brain something fierce after a while.

OP needs to sleep less, get some quality friends who will care about him/her, and do some exercise, while maintaining a healthy diet. These things should help your mental state, as well as your bodily health, improve dramatically. From there one would find it easier to re-integrate.
