Hey mate, it's awesome that you're actively trying to conquer your social anxiety and you've already made the first step ie. planning. However, heed this anon's advice and take baby steps my man, focus all your energy on one goal at a time or you'll feel overwhelmed and fuck everything up. I strongly advise that you work towards your gym goal first, coz when you look better, you feel better about yourself and this will help you on your journey to developing self confidence.

Also, i know it may sound hard but when you feel pent up anxiety towards something, don't try to fight it. Just tell yourself "fuck it" and do whatever it is you need to do.

Lastly, i want you to try to just have a conversation with a cute girl you like, may it be a random stranger or a girl you've known for years. This time however,don't try to focus on "what i need to do to impress the girl" just say whatever the fuck you want to say to her (it needs to come from your heart). If you succeed you succeed. If you fail you succeed. On a side note i hate to use "fail" because it couldn't be farther from the truth. When things go awkward, you yourself don't have to feel awkward its a fucking choice.

I am ABLE to do this, but I don't do it very well. I will never be able to get used to it in the sense that I will be able to manage it fully. I need something more "advanced" than that, which'll hopefully make the "easy" stuff manageable.
