I'm 24 and live with my parents and it's awesome. Money, food, cars yay.

Faggots who claim you have to move out just come from poor or broken families

    dear op,

i am a 22 year old in the same situation.

i do not have to pay rent, and that is nice. also, my mother cooks well.

but i feel like i am in high school again. and it makes me feel inadequate.

I'm 28 and live alone making 24/hr. I would gladly move back in with my parents if I was able to make 18+/hr living in that area.

I am 31 and live with my parents too. And I am not ashamed at all. Though, I am still virgin.

I'm 22 and living at home. Kinda sucks but kinda rocks.

On one hand, it's a massive social detriment. Wanna bring girls home? Well, you can, but not for anything close to sex. Wanna get trashed? Hope your friends have their own place.

But everything else is fucking cash. Home cooked meals EVERY DAMN NIGHT? Plus all the money I make from whatever job I may or may not have (sadly inbetween jobs right now) goes straight into the bank - no bills, nothing.

Of course I'm saving up to move out. But it really isn't that bad here.

Also, 22/M and living with parents, though I'm fine with it, and have a job interview Monday morning, and if I get it, I'm probably moving 25 miles from here so I can ride a bike to work.

    Feels good man.

    Dear Anonymous,

I feel like I'm a kid even though the food and space is great. And I have to put up with the bullshit my parents randomly throw at me. It's a paradox of being extremely comfortable and me feeling extremely miserable.

I'm about to turn 21, and I still live with parents. I do have to pay $100 in car insurance each month, but everything else (save for gas and random college expenses {namely books}) goes straight to my bank account. While I'd really like to be out of the house, the fact that I'll have around $7000 or more in my bank account come April really softens the blow.

It seems that nowadays girls are more eager to take the guy back to her place, but maybe that's just me.

I'm also 22 and live with my parents. For 4 years after HS I lived away at college (Which they paid for), still only working part time though and going to school. Felt tired of paying rent/insurance/food while I still made an hrly wage. Also don't feel like taking out student loans to pay for gradschool.

Sure my social life too a hit, but you really appreciate cooked/free meals after you've lived on your own for awhile.

Funny I should see this topic today.

I'm 24, I teach at a local community college, I am pretty successful in life and have a gf, and I just emailed some guys about an empty room in their apt. (craiglist)

I feel like a loser living here, like I'm in adequate, to quote a previous post. And these guys have a place on the beach. $850 a month.

I'm planning to live with my mom after college for a while until I get a decent federal job. But people usually move out when they're 25. But it's perfectly understandable, affordable apartments are a joke unless you're willing to live in a crime-ridden area or commute by car because they have no public transit to your city.
