    YES!
The Tiger That Came To Tea

it ate all the dinner that Sophie's mummy had prepared
it ate all the food in the cupboards
it drank all of daddy's beer
it drank all of mummy's tea
it drank all of Sophie's orange squash
and all the water in the tap.
Sophie's daddy came home from work and the tiger went home.
Sophie's mummy and daddy took Sophie to a cafe for tea instead
And the next day, Sophie's mummy bought a tin of Tiger Food in case it came to tea again.

    I would like to revise my earlier synopsis. After finding the story again www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pZxvxmry4A i have found that the eating occurred in a different order and there were elements i missed. After all, i wouldn't like you all to miss out on the sad ending i had blocked from my mind ;_;

If you give a mouse a cookie, he'll want a glass of milk.
If you give him a glass of milk he'll want to check for a milk mustache in the mirror.
If he checks in the mirror he
ll notice he has to shave...
    Etc.

THAT weak shit? Please, the Butter Battle Book is where it's at. Those amazing weapons he drew are possibly among the ten most influential images I can remember from my childhood. It's a crying shame I can't find decent pictures of any of them on Google; you'd think some awesome dude would've put up some high-res scans somewhere.

Also, I remember buying the Redwall books, like 6 of them, because a lot of people read them and said they were cool. I let them gather dust because I thought they were boring as fuck though. And I felt bad because I made my parents buy me a bunch.

    Same thing with Artemis Fowl.

I remember in 4th grade we needed to read a book for a book report, and being the advanced reading little bastard that I was, I read Watership Down. I enjoyed my 400-page book about rabbits.

Almost 15 years later, I had this sudden realization, like a "EUREKA!" moment, where I realized that the book wasn't about bunnies at all. It came to me out of the blue, when I wasn't doing anything related to the book.

And then I felt really, really stupid for not realizing it sooner.

If this one doesn't get you, then you have no soul! Also, props on the various Roald Dahl books that were posted.

FUCKING THIS. This rocked my world, piqued my interest in technology, I knew so much more than other kids. They would read Capt Underpants and shit, but i'd stick to this.

This is the reason why I joined up with the Airforce and majored in Engineering in Uni.

Also, first book to make me cry: Where the Redfern grows. Also what the fuck why is the image not original. :<
