    Film recommendation thread time.

List every film out there that needs to be watched. Any genre, any language, as long as it's good. I remember an anon earlier this week was planning on compiling a list, but it doesn't look like anything came out of it. So I'm going to try to do it. I'll have it up in a txt file on rapidshare.

    Pulp Fiction
    Seven Samurai
    Pi
    Lawrence of Arabia
    Fight Club
    Indiana Jones
    Pan's Labyrinth

That's because it isn't good. They should have given it to a real director, Mary Harron just didn't have the guts (no pun intended) to do the book justice.

The book was good because Ellis REALLY fucking pushed it as far as he possibly could. That's the only way he could get the actual point of the book across. By pussying out and half-assing the film, it's basically just a pointless movie about Christian Bale maybe killing a few people.

I'm not even convinced the book could have been made into a good movie, but they should have given it to someone who would have tried harder.
