Studied it in the fifth grade, which sparked an interest in the
"classical" culture, Age of Empires got me interested in the history
and I've been learning the language since I was 12. 2. I went to
Japan on a school homestay trip, and went back with friends after high
school. I've got some anime DVDs and Japanese games, as well as some
nice souvenirs (authentic print of "The Great Wave", handmade fans,
etc.). I listen to some Japanese music. I was thinking of taking up
kendo or ninjutsu, but I'm probably too old to start either of them. 3.
I've been learning it since I was 12, because my high school had a
compulsory LOTE program, and I thought I'd prefer Japanese to German.
Needless to say, I stuck with it, liked it, and continued to study it
into university. 4. The people there (especially the women) were
almost invariably nice to me. I was told I should become a male model
in Japan by a Japanese Australian, I was adored by schoolgirls and
grown women alike on my homestay trip, and I'm still in contact with a
lot of friends from over there. Also, there are some very, very
attractive Japanese women about. Apart from that, the feudal history is amazing, as well as the architecture. 5.
I typed something big, but I'm apparently not articulate enough to make
sense of myself, so I'll say something short and probably not very
informative. From what I experience, life in Japan seems to be
structured, organised, and set into a clear routine. This suits the way
I try to live my life, so I personally like it. |
