/co/, strangely enough, is perhaps the most level-headed and well adjusted of the bunch. He works at the local deli where many of the other characters spend their time, and is very social and friendly. /co/ is good friends with /a/ and /v/, even when they're off being crazy and he's just getting dragged along for the ride. When he's not getting into trouble with /v/ and /a/, and /r9k/, /co/ can often be found browsing online auction sites for rare collectibles with his younger brother /toy/.

/trv/ is the guy always seen wearing a Hawaiian shirt and flip flops with socks. His apartment is littered with brochures taken from the travel agency down the street. He is unable to commit to anything and frequently threatens to "join the French Foreign Legion" someday. Despite these drawbacks, he is a comfortable guy to be around and can converse on a variety of topics.

/tg/ is, simply put, a big friendly nerd. Perhaps the fattest of the tenants, /tg/ is almost always snacking on something, from Cheetos to Meatbread. He frequently attends Warhammer 40,000 tournaments and plays Dungeons and Dragons with /v/ and /co/. /tg/ is an avid fan of all things related to fantasy and science fiction, but makes clear distinctions between fact and fiction. He wishes his twin sister /x/ were a little more down-to-Earth. /tg/'s role in the show is relatively minor, but he always has something to say, be it hilariously off-color or unexpectedly brilliant. /tg/ is a more important character in the second and third season.

/h/, /s/ and /hc/ are sluts. Nary can one walk past their apartments without hearing a squeaking mattress. /e/ is just a tease.

/sp/ is two characters - two mind-20s men, a European and an American who live together and are constantly fighting. But if someone else starts shit with one of them, the other is the first to jump to their defense.

/fa/ is a underweight homosexual with a hitler youth who lives in the apartment next door to /v/. He's extremely shallow and always gives /v/ and /r9k/ shit about the way they dress. /fit/ and /fa/ are roommates and they hate each other with a passion.

moot is the hot landlord every women wants and every male is jealous of.. and some male wants him.

/mu/ is a pretentious hipster who smokes Djarum Blacks. He refuses to listen to any band with more than 50 fans.

/x/ is a bone skinny girl who seldom leaves her house and is obsessed with stories of the paranormal. She doesn't really talk to the other tenants and spends all her time reading Lovecraft or ghost hunting. /mu/ has a crush on her but is too afraid to talk to her. /fa/ despises her for being an unfashionable shut-in.

/r/ is a librarian and a master of Google-Fu.

/m/ is pretty quiet and usually awkward in social situations, but is extremely courageous and protective of his friends when provoked. His apartment is full of models he's built, most of them in dynamic poses or part of huge dioramas. Mostly hangs out with /a/ and /v/.

/y/ is a flamboyant asian manwhore who always comes in, reeking of astro glide and ball sweat. He's frienemies with /fa/ and spends all his time fighting off /cm/.

/r9k/ spends the entire series asking the other losers for relationship advice.

When he goes out, he starts political debates with every girl he meets.

/m/ is an eccentric looking neighbor who spends most of his time in his garage. He never lets anyone else look inside but claims to be "working on something fucking cool." Has been known to eye passing cars nervously.

/fit/ is a bulked out asshole who used to be a fatty, but then got hold of OATZ and SQUATZ and now is a pretentious ass about his hot body. He hates /fa/ with a passion, but /fa/ doesn't really care. Before he lost all his weight he used to be friends with /tg/ but now he won't even speak to him. He has a thing for /e/ but her slutty older sister /h/ won't let him near her.

/a/ is the female lead of the show, and strikes an odd blend between socialite and shut-in. /a/ is always active and well-informed about recent goings-on in the apartment. She is flighty, impulsive and headstrong and her spur-of-the-moment decisions often lead to the crazy misadventures at the heart of most episodes. /a/ likes /v/ back, but will never admit it and largely ignores his awkward advances. /a/ shares an apartment with /tv/, causing it to be plastered with both anime figurines and movie posters, in addition to the single best home theater system in the apartment, besides Moot's.

He's always pondering the meaning of life and whining about his misfortunes. /r9k/ knows /b/, but won't tell anyone if they're old friends, relatives, or something else.

/ck/ is a fatty who's always in the kitchen making something delicious that /fa/ and /fit/ refuse to eat. He hates /tg/ and /v/ because they always want to know how to make their shitty instant ramen more edible instead of actually learning to cook.

/gif/, /f/, and /p/ work at the local TV station, with /gif/ secretly making porn of /hc/ and /h/'s bedroom romps for cash.

/jp/ is a loner. No one talks to him. While /jp/ hates /a/, /a/ is tsundere for /jp/. /d/ is a fucked up lunatic with crazy fetishes who's also /jp/'s friend. /h/ is perverted, but not as creepy as /d/.

/ic/ is a mean-spirited, drunk, fat asshole with nothing nice to say. He always criticizes the other residents of the apartment, and while he ultimately means well, they sometimes have trouble looking past his unbridled ire. /ic/ hates /a/ with a passion, but /a/ barely knows he exists.

We've already done this a million times in /co/, and you guys are shitty at it. Stop.

/d/ is a creature that lurks in the darkness and can change her form at will. She does not speak, other than in guttural moans. Her only driving force is her incredible sexual appetite. She has a particular lust for /x/, much to /x/'s chagrin. The only character that can match her in sexual depravity is /co/.

/r9k/ is a pseudo-intellectual hipster with constant relationship issues.

He quotes Proust, Nietszche and Freud having only read their Wikipedia page.

He's a self declared atheist who aggressively argues with any agnostic or religious or "spiritual" person.

He dropped out of college after first year for it being "too mainstream." His parents pay his rent and he mooches food off his roomates.

He's obsessed over his ex-girlfriend who left him for /fit/ and his life peaked when he volunteered for the Obama campaign for 2 months canvassing the neighbourhood.
