If only we could some way take all the most controvertial articles on that site and make them factual.

    Oh wait, it's a wiki.

    We can.

So, I recommend we take down Geo-centrism, then go after evolution and all that other stuff.

One or two isolated incidents won't put a dent into their bullshit, but if everyone unites to take them down all at once, it will take a while to revert everything back to the way it was.

We just need to set a time to fix the retardary.

Oh god the guy behind Conservativopedia is completely delusional. I've met him before in real life.

He's convinced that there is a conspiracy to "liberalize" the bible and basically has the same outlook on life as the afghan Taleban.

I got permabanned from one of his early forums for saying that the goal of the bible was not a "declaration of war against non-believers".

He had a friend who had a separate free forum. I was banned for saying something like "There might not be a link between Saddam and 9/11" prior to the war. He sent me a PM that he would ban me in 10 minutes unless I went into the sites java chat room with him. I did and he said he'd reduce the ban from permanent to one-week if I, in the chatroom, pledged an oath to the constitution, george bush and the bible. I just sorta left and never came back.

So yeah I used to be a big conservative, moderate now. In b4coolstorybro

Every Bush-hater claims all the world's problems ultimately lead back to this President, which were consciously and intentionally orchestrated by him and his administration. Schlafly and his appointed administrators (the "sysops") rarely tolerate facts or information that disagree with their own views. Editors who disagree with the CP worldview are often told by Schlafly or others that they are "clueless" - regardless of their expertise in the field or the validity of their information. They are often told that they don't understand logic, science, or history, and that if they just "open their minds" they will see the truth. Schlafly frequently introduces non sequitur issues into discussions. All too often, in the middle of a discussion, editors are banned from the site by Schlafly or an administrator.

    >> Anonymous 06/04/09(Thu)01:50:11 No.4365716
One of the issues that has most concerned critics is that articles are often "locked", and written only by one editor/sysop - no visitors may edit the article whatsoever. For example, the article on homosexuality has been essentially written by one editor, named "Conservative", and the page has been locked for at least a year. This is true of other articles, for example the articles on President Barack Obama, Prof. Richard Dawkins, the Theory of Evolution, and breast cancer, among many others. The concern is that these articles contain not only opinion, but also a considerable number of factual inaccuracies which cannot now be corrected, since the "owner" of the article is the only one who writes the article, and only other "sysops" can edit it at all. In most cases, appeals to include information in those articles on their "talk pages" is rebuffed - if not simply deleted, to avoid the appearance of dissent. These articles are presented as "encyclopedic", yet are clearly just personal essays with no other input allowed.

    http://www.conservapedia.com/One-world_government

The One-world Government is a Utopian idea popular with Liberals, in which all the Nations on Earth will (supposedly willingly) abandon their Sovereignty to the will of the United Nations or some other world-wide government.

Some people believe that President George H. W. Bush's famous "New World Order" speech was a clue that the Insiders were about to begin their plan to establish the One-World Government.[1] President George W. Bush helped allay these fears with his obvious contempt for the United Nations.

In the popular Left Behind series, the Antichrist begins his plan by subsuming America into the One-World Government. This is based on the Book of Revelations.

    http://www.conservapedia.com/Elitist

Elitism is an attitude or belief in one's superiority based solely on membership in a particular group or community. Elitism can be seen, for example, in the delusion that being a celebrity or a gatekeeper of the mainstream news media in itself imparts sufficient wisdom to justify airing one's personal opinion on an issue.

During his ministry Jesus attacked the religious elitism of the Saduccees and the Pharisees which led them to manipulate the ruling Roman governor into executing this populist upstart. Because it is based in the values of Christianity, conservatism has an ambition to be populist, unlike liberalism, in which the beliefs of the intellectual elitists make them superior to the public.

    Notable elitists include:

    1. Al Gore
    2. Barack Hussein Obama
    3. Hillary Clinton
    4. Franklin Delano Roosevelt
    5. Marie Antoinette

Rampage is a series of monster-based video games made by Midway. The series has included five titles and one spin-off. The latest in the franchise is Rampage: Total Destruction.

Midway Island (also Midway Atoll) is an atoll in the north Pacific Ocean located between Hawaii and Japan; it is a possession of the United States. Discovered in 1859, it was annexed by the US in 1867. In June 1942, a Japanese naval attack directed towards the atoll led to the Battle of Midway, one of the most significant engagements of the Pacific War.

"He has taught classes in World and U.S. History to homeschooled high school age children for several years. As a volunteer he teaches eight online courses on the Eagle Forum University, where over 6,000 students are registered, largely from the same course material that he provides for his homeschooling program. Schlafly frequently claims superior expertise in whatever subject he is debating, and has repeatedly attacked and overturned opinion, evidence, and references supplied by fully qualified editors based solely on his claimed expertise. Often, rather than simply disagreeing with others, he makes totally unsubstantiated claims that are simply opinion, assertion, or even uneducated guesses, and of which he brooks no criticism.

We should worry about this, not lol.

This crazy fundamentalist guy is not just a crazy hobo, he is a teacher!

The sad thing is, Wikipedia actually has a slight conservative bias. Trouble is America is so ultra-conservative that their liberals are even more conservative than the UK's conservatives.

    >In works describing a potentially controversial topic, bias refers to the tendency of an author who holds a particular viewpoint to express that viewpoint (whether intentionally or subconsciously) in his work. This typically goes against the ideal of compendiums which are meant to be neutral, such as encyclopedias. For example, if an article on abortion is written by someone who supports it, it will likely be biased towards that viewpoint, and vice versa.

I wonder if they know they are doing this themselves, or if theyre just retards.

    > In addition, studies report that homosexual couples have significantly higher incidences of violent behavior which will be covered shortly.
    >These studies are not surprising at all given what pathologists have stated regarding the commonness and brutality of homosexual murders.

    >Regarding studies regarding homosexual couples and violence, a recent study by the Canadian government regarding homosexual couples states that "violence was twice as common among homosexual couples compared with heterosexual couples"

It seems that gaming giant EA, (that's Electronic Anti-Christ for those of you church folk) has angered the religious denizens of LA with its sinfully spectacular title, Dante's Inferno. The 'Go to Hell' tagline seems to the main focus of debate, with angry protesters warning ignorant gamers to steer clear of the title, regarding it as 'tainted' and 'evil.'

"We are on a crusade to stop the blasphemous glorification of HELL and its minions as presented by Dante's Inferno. The ever decaying youth and slovenly adults who engage with Dante's Inferno are a victim of our society's pointless need to flirt with Satan and his lustful campaign to corrupt human souls...We say NO. We say inferNO."

When confronted, the crowd seemed adamant on their position. 'Trade in your Playstation for a Praystation.' I tried to get the people to further explain their disdain as they did not seem to grasp the basic concept of the game or even recognize the title's obvious literary influence. Their tireless effort seemed to go unnoticed however, as hundreds of gamers passed by with little interest and giggles under their tired breaths.

Their 'crusade' as they so lovingly and self-righteously put it, slams EA with charges of: sorcery, violence and murder, and exultation of bodily fluids, to name a few.

Amidst the biggest event that gamers so anxiously look forward to, comes the ravenous agenda of the religious right. Never mind the fact that Dante is on a quest to save his beloved Beatrice from the confines of Hell. Rational and reasoning is lost on such folk who have nothing to do but attack works of fiction and make an issue out of something so irrelevant. And apparently, you battle unbaptized babies.
