correct. It's very rare that people actually make friends out of the
blue, you have to have something in common. A roommate, a co-worker, a
classmate, a friend of a friend, a strong mutual interest in something,
a similar worldview/approach to life/sense of humor, etc.
Anyone
who tells you to chat up random strangers is likely one of those people
who has a bunch of acquaintances and casual friends, but few or no
close friends. There has to be a real connection in order to form a
friendship that's worth a shit |
