Amongst the trash that is XKCD, A Softer World, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal and to a lesser extend PHD comics (even though it's usually a very funny yet depressing read), I have found this little gem that spoke straight to my heart.I had seen one specific comic posted over and over but didn't think too much of it until, thanks to clicking through random links on /r9k, I found the the diamond mine.It might not be funny, it might not be snark, or witty, but this is my favorite comic; what I would have drawn had I the artistic ability to draw.

Don't worry, you will meet your younger self again in the old future.
minus is entirely cute I agree,
If you don't like XKCD or A Softer World you have no soul.
Minus is awesome, OP. thanks for reminding me what i spent a night reading once upon a time zone.also: pupkin.
>>3811655No thank you, anon.I'd rather get lost in my daydreams.
>>3811691either that or you're a faggot :/
Yarr!! I forgot to be mentioning me honorary seconds in command who stand up to this fine young lass name Minus.Gurewitch aboard ye ol' PBFAnd Larson Of ye Far Side!Arr!! That's all I have for ye landlubbers. I be out fer today.
>>3811691No. They just hit a spot that isn't my favorite and while there might be a comic in a dozen that I might smirk at, every single one of Minus's adventures hits me where I hurt most.My lost daydreams when I was a kid. I still sometimes absentmindedly enter that realm when my college classes bore the everliving world out of me but it's never what it used to be.
>>3811631>>3811663wow, those were very imaginative, nostalgic, and heart warming. I'd love a sauce please my dear robot.
>>3811718lol, didn't realize minus was a girl till this one
>>3811850http://www.kiwisbybeat.com/minus25.htmlThere it is anon. Have fun.Blocking moot's dreams.
>>3811631Great trolling bro.
>>3811825you mean your imagination?i still have mine. wanna share?
>>3811850kiwisbybeat.com has links to all of Ryan's stuff. he's a cool guy.
>>3811871There is a specific strip where the ice cream guy hands out free ice cream and says "Here you go little boy" and then...oh wait...sourcehttp://www.kiwisbybeat.com/minus36.html:P
This comic gets real sad real fast. :(But I do love it :3
>>3811889Yes, my imagination. Used to have quite a good one until I started becoming good in math.Things only improved when I started learning the piano. Unfortunately by that time I had missed all of high school, getting carried away in the academics and what not.
gb2/co/minus is god awful
>>3811883lol moot, what a fag
>>3811981To each his own, whatever floats your boat, etc.
If I wanted Minus I'd read Calvin and Hobbes.
ohforgot to say thanks for the sauce. these comics are wonderful
>>381169190% of the "hilarity" that is XKCD is derived from the fact that you feel like you've earned a gold star when you get the joke. It's exceedingly rare that any of them are actually any funny.Picture related. On the plus side, you can bring the pretentiousness down to a tolerable level by drawing little smiley faces on all of the characters.
Goddamn it I want to fuck minus soooooo badlyWhy are all the 'misunderstood' girls so fat and ugly ;_;
>>3812158Np.>>3812131Oh, that's a good comic too, almost forgot :P
http://pbfcomics.com/?cid=PBF209-Now_Showing.jpgHow could you not love that?
>>3811655Hate this comic.
>>3812206Is this one so hard to grasp? Most people forget that half the intended audience of XKCD are programmers and math grad students. I may be a lowly history major but there's a little thing called context that allows us mere mortals to easily understand the obscure content.
where you guys on earlier today? (like 8 hours ago?)there was a webcomic thread and I'm kicking myself now because i didnt save themlooking for the dino comic that is well drawn and ends with the dinorider parodyand the one with the bird that wants the twig for his nest "I need that damn twig!"
>>3812310That one isn't hard to grasp at all. A lot of them aren't, for most of them you can just use context and infer what the joke is. Most of them are also unfunny, even if you do get the joke as soon as you read it.I don't think I've ever met a math major who didn't act like not laughing at an XKCD comic was an act of blasphemy. It's unfunny and incredibly pretentious, end of story.
>>3812206I got it the first time I saw it. Maybe you are a moron.
>>3812206>>3812310>>3812443I feel like this one is the ultimate proof of what >>3812206 said. It's not funny any way you look at it. Really.
>>3812443>>3812310Lookin' kinda butthurt there.See, though? I say it isn't funny and immediately people assume it was because I didn't "get it".The jokes aren't as high-brow as you like to think they are when you pad your ego because you understood them.
>>3812443>>3812310It appears as though you two are indeed mad. I shall one-up the interrogative version of the phrase "you mad" with the declarative one.
>>3812484You don't need any technical knowledge to get the joke in that one. Maybe you're just an idiot.
Heres one I really enjoy:http://www.lucid-tv.com/170.html
>>3812831>>3812443you'reanidiotmind
My issue here is the ending.
Old. /co/ has been reading this for ages.
>>3812831That's the thing. There's nothing to get, it's just not funny, so people go to the usual "oh lol I just don't get it, that's why it's not funny. I'll look it up."http://echochamber.me/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=37375158 posts of "I don't get it".
