I guess my ideal world would be one in which I get a job and become a gear in the global financial mechanism, allowing for further wealth generation to occur and making a world like the OPs possible... contributing to progress indirectly but helping to move the whole along... you know, as opposed to a world where I respond to threads on 4chan about making the world better.

Communism (in its ideal form) sounds pretty great. I haven't really read the manifesto though or much literature at all. What I want to know is even though I and everyone else would be working hard, would it still be possible to occasionally go out and get a burger with friends, or waste a little time on internet forums, or read non-government-approved books or news, or play a videogame occasionally? I get the feeling I would do it a lot less but if I could still do it OCCASIONALLY...
