One of the results of effective trolling is that people at your targetted board take things less seriously.

Naturally 4chan boards are both easy mode (wealth of trolls) but also hard mode (most of the specific-interest boards are fairly difficult to troll without being detected). Either way, heading out into DA INTERNETS and finding a bunch of faggots taking themselves seriously evokes the troll.

WoW forums, dota forums, quake, gamefaqs, leathernecks.com, ytmnd(lol), all sorts of places. At some point or another these forums begin taking a life of their own and people start elevating them to something they're not, which to the vast majority of people is fucking irritating.

Trolling is more of a serious business then most people realize.

People can put shit opinions in a box and call it trolling, but a GOOD troll can lead an audience on for weeks with no one suspecting the troll in question to be a troll.

What you want to do is infiltrate, undermine, and destroy a dysfunctional net community. This requires careful planning, lurking, and the occasional well placed "E-Hug", not a single well worded post.

You need to learn to flame people with out attacking them directly.
And you need to use clean open ended logic, not forced flawed logic.
That way you can keep your argument going and have it be vague enough that others see a point of view that they agree with and join you.
