I find that the best solution is to make your own threads about interesting topics. Always try to create interesting discussion, don't participate in BAWW SO BETA THAT FEEL etc. style threads, they're worthless. Just hide the thread.

Eventually, I hope, the number of people having interesting discussions will overwhelm the people making sad/lonely/misogyny/misandry/etc. threads.

As a female who is crippled by social anxiety, I fully support this board.

I'm in shape, only 5'1", and 95 lbs. I have a job. I'm not in anyway like a typical female described by those on /r9k/, I hate anime and hate stereotypes. But I continue to spend most of my time on this board simply because I feel like those here understand the alienation I feel better than anyone else.
