When you're in a small town at night, and nothing is open past 9pm, the 24-hour ones especially become epicenters.

Pretty much anything open late becomes a mecca for teens, because they're "mature" now and can stay out late with their parent's beater.

I hate teenagers. I think part of it's jealousy though. When I see them hanging out in their cliques and acting cool and making out with 15yo sluts, I regret never having done those things. But I also hate them for their lack of respect and tact. I treated people like human beings when I was a teenager and didn't act like I owned the world, for that was the right thing to do. But now-a-days, kids do whatever the hell they want with impunity. It's ridiculous. I'm only 23 and I feel like Clint Eastwood in Gran Turino.

I might be relatively young, but I'm not a kid. I've had more time to make mistakes, and from those mistakes I've gained a lot of wisdom. I wish I could warn these kids about the dumb shit they do, but I know they won't listem, because I didn't listen. When they find out the truth of reality on their own, they'll become me and I'll become the old man that says "I told you so."
