01/15/09(Thu)15:49:16 No.2783225>>2783106 It's
an old line, sure, but when the UAW is forcing GM to produce over
demand, with the unsold remainder then sold as fleet vehicles, which
are quickly rotated out and resold as used, to a consumer base that's
quickly being strapped for cash as a result of $3/gallon gas prices
among other things, it's hard not to point fingers.
As a caveat,
there's at least ten billion other equally important factors in
Detroit's economic slump. I could probably blame it on your mom, or
4chan, if I really wanted to try.
I have no problem with unions
when they aren't stringing their employers by the balls, or attempting
to enforce unrealistic or unsustainable business models when arguing on
behalf of the workers. There's gotta be a balance of power in
everything. |
