risks other than mental aren't too severe or permanent. I forget how
many days without sleep it takes, but you start hallucinating and
stuff. Physical, I'm pretty sure you'll feel like shit, but I don't
think you can die from 5 days deprivation.
As for staying up,
I don't know...no matter how busy you keep yourself, it's going to be
hard to stay up. The only thing I could think of would be actual
physical activity, like go jogging when you're completely about to pass
out, that usually keeps me up a little longer.
The most I've
ever stayed awake was 3 days, and I felt like shit for a day or two
afterward. Also, those 15 minute catnaps seem like either cheating, or
you just won't wake up from one of them for like 10 hours. |
