It's like City of God in terms of storytelling and cinematography. I'd say it's just as good as that movie.

That is the highest praise I can offer, City of God is possibly my favourite film of all time.

I liked the credits; it played on the retarded shit that Bollywood tends to pull in movies. It made me laugh on the inside.

The previews played this out to be a sappy romance, at least in America. All I recall from the previews was "Boy running through streets, girl standing and looking anticipating, boy running, girl running, all the while a voice-over tells us how many awards it's won, 'SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, RATED R.'"

Will I enjoy this movie if I'm not a big fan of sappy romance stories?
