Everyone knows TV is dead as the radio. What do you watch instead?

I just discovered nunandgun.tv for obscure stuff-- right now they're in an usavich+superjail animation marathon.

    a mixture of archive.org and youtube/google video.

tv is not dead at all, and neither is radio

do you understand how many people listen to the radio while commuting to work? tens of millions in the US alone.

obviously, the quality of tv and radio are not lacking if so many millions of people watch/listen to them. you just have more obscure tastes.

Ha, obviously it just means people watch/listen to shit just because it's there. Are you seriously arguing for radio music?? hahaha

hey, if it wasn't for TV, we wouldn't have House. i don't see high-budget series or movies released straight-to-internet.

sigh. i was just looking for alternatives. seriously if you haven't seen usavich go to nunandgun.tv

tv is dead, serialized video media is not dead however, it is just shifting in delivery method. In twenty years everything will be piped though a singular internet feed split between wired and wireless access points.

Optical media is on it's way out also, in twenty years every home will have a multi-terabyte (probably more) home media server centralized within their house that stores the entire families media library and is accessible from terminals within any room in the house.

poetv.com is good too, for ondemand. nunandgun.tv is looking really good for passive viewing :D

Amen. I love being able to grab the latest episode 30 min after it's done, in HD. Makes missing it for work not so bad.
