This is it. I'm done. Fuck you, America. Fuck you. I'm calling my brother who is closely involved with a SWAT team, I am going to show him this and after he agrees with me, he is going to help me get my hands on a sniper rifle. I am going to modify that rifle to suit my needs, and then, I am going to find the names of the 5 most important individuals within the 500 companies that benefit most from this plan. I am going to sell my home and use the money to buy a van to cross the country with, as well as keep myself supplied for my mission. And I am going to hunt those 2,500 people down, and I am going to kill them. And if by some miracle I'm not caught or dead by the time I'm finished with them, I am going to keep going and kill rich people who fuck over the poor until I have run completely out of money and ammunition. And when that happens, I will probably kill myself. And no matter what happens, I will have absolutely no regrets.

peter schiff is actually very smart and has now had great social success.

PBS did a story on the 'Peter Schiff was Right' youtube clip, the one that's almost got 1mill views. Hes also getting tons of mainstream news showings because he's the 'he was right' pundit guy.

give yourself 30 minutes of him talking and you might see things differently. skip the OP vid tho. just go for him on reg news channels. he's great. also got a top selling book now obviously due to the financial woes.

my understanding is we will never be poor, barring some catastrophe. our economic output percapita is still greater and more interconnected than any other country. our growth rate however is not on par, thus us being seceded in the future.

This is not a conspiracy, conspiracies require an attempt to disguise what the conspirators are doing. This is just the rich faggots in control of American government doing *one* last thing to fuck over the public and ensure their own personal success before Obama comes in and at least *tries* to fix things, which might actually result in said rich faggots losing a little money.

At least, that's what I hope it is. I have little faith in humanity left but I hope and I pray every night that there could be such an astronomical failure of our political systems that people so *stupid* as to genuinely, honestly think this is a GOOD idea for America could be put into office.

Oh, and please note, this is not an "bawww im not rich i hate rich people" thing, I only hate the rich people who maintain their own wealth by manipulating the government and fucking other people over.

If you're going to punish those responsible it would help to actually know who was responsible.

These companies lost money when they bought collateralized mortgage agreements, they believed they were legitimate because the government promised to regulate them, it was also the government sponsored enterprises Freddie Mac and Fannie May that collateralized them in the first place. welllll the problem with the constitution is just that nobody wants to follow it. personally, i can't even remember being taught it or anything much about it in school.

any stable system has to include at its base a populace with a sense of duty, principles, heritage, stuff like that. the stuff that makes them freak the fuck out when their rules are broken even in the slightest. the kind of vigilance that allows no tumbling slip ups one on top of the other into shit like trillion $ bailouts you get today.

i oppose revolution for the sole concern of 'who takes power' afterwords (and of course, what do they do with it). the constitution worked because 12 however many colonies came together by their own will, thought it best to join the union, and pledged to abide by the rules. its just a renewal of vows which is needed, and in many ways that is happening to certain degrees.. things get 'too liberal', society looks in disgust and says we must go 'back to our roots'.

thats the story of societal change, its been going on since forever. its not the worst but obviously not the best.

actually no. 3/4 of all sub-prime loans were made by companies that were completely unregulated, and no attempt, not even that lame one that you guys like to bring up, was made to regulate them.

There are still sub-prime lenders that make spectacular profits by, you know, adhering to CRA policies of meeting the needs of lower income people "while adhering to sound banking policies."

    Deregulation caused it. Q.E.D.

The standard saves from a unlimited expansion of credit - by preventing creation of money by inflating it or bank accounting (legal). This would have limited the capacity of the banks to give credit.

Besides, The HUD made the banks to give more loans to people not worthy to it. It forced upon it under the vague acusation of discrimination as far as i know

Of course they deregulated it, if it were actually regulated this would never have happened. The state acted as the middle man/woman between the banks Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae employed to collateralise debt and the investors who paid for it, basically giving the pyramid scheme the state seal of approval. They were supposed to oversee this sort of thing, but obviously somewhere along the line since the early 70s they stopped caring. It was bound to happen eventually, without greed there was little incentive for them to do more than fulfil some abstract state guidelines.

Whereas Dubya shits all over the Constitution and claims that Jesus made him do it, Ron Paul shits all over the Constitution and claims that the Constitution loves it. Let me make one thing clear: the US Constitution is NOT into shit sex.

Ron Paul's christfag "We the People" Act is the biggest load of bullshit that Dr. Fuckup ever poured onto the founding documents. By denying the right of same-sex cases and religious oppression cases to appeal to Federal courts, Ron Paul is trying to deny
    (1) the right to equal protection, and
    (2) the right to petition the government
from fagfags and atheistfags. This is a direct contradiction of the US Constitution due to the above rights, and therefore Ron Paul's proposed bill is unconstitutional.

I regret not voting for Ron Paul now. Not that it would've made a difference, but I thought he was a nutcase and our economy would be fine. I guess I was wrong.

Time to move out of the country now. I want to be established elsewhere before the economy gets much worse.
    >> Anonymous 12/16/08(Tue)11:33:15 No.2457962
    Ron Paul is a hero.

If you own gold right now you're doing pretty good. Just about every govt in the world is devaluing their currency.

But libertarians ask for unrestricted money, ie there is no 'legal tender' within a land, people instead use whatever they find to be convenient to trade with. Physical currency means govts can't just print whenever they like (Bernanke is talking about 'monetising debt' right now).

But what makes Ron Paul a hero is that he is honest and he sticks to his principles. He has real integrity .

You're an idiot and should really cease posting misinformation on the internet. Ron Paul and MANY OTHERS predicted this would happen. No, your analogy is retarded and doesn't make any sense. Ron Paul never said a few companies will go bankrupt. He predicted a lot fucking more than that.

Good going, retard. I hope you don't lose your job... oh wait...

anyone who thinks that gay people are equals before the law should hate Ron Paul because of his anti-constitutional we the people act.

Ron Paul doesn't think that the federal government should give gay people court rights, much less marriage rights.
    >> Anonymous 12/16/08(Tue)11:37:26 No.2457986
    >>2457981
No he doesn't. Ron Paul would leave it up to the states as the Federal Government should have no say in who can get married.

My analogy makes perfect sense, thank you.

Here's a better analogy: economists are like meteorologists. They look at long term trends, short term trends, and natural laws in order to make rough predictions.

For the past twenty years, Ron Paul has consistently predicted "Hurricaine". He was wrong when it was sunny and he was wrong when there was a drought. Now there's an actual hurricaine, and you're claiming that the guy has the skill of prophesy.

Bullshit. A broken clock, yadda yadda.

we the people makes the federal govt less powerful, giving the individual states more authority over their citizens. it is possible that some states would go against gays, but those gays can easily move to another state. if one state seriously went against US values, (anti-gay laws probably qualify) then they would face backlash from the rest of the US and inevitably have to change.
    >> Anonymous 12/16/08(Tue)11:42:48 No.2458014

Ron Paul wants gay people to have no right to petition in federal courts. That goes beyond "leaving it up to the states". That makes gay people second-class citizens.

Ron Paul also wants fed. courts to ignore atheists being crushed by religious loons. Why? Because Ron Paul thinks that atheists are second-class citizens.

You idiots need more than a slap on the wrist. Your spoiled fucking brat country needs to get a good whipping. Then maybe you'll learn your fucking lesson. You should find some way to boost your self-worth OTHER THAN geopolitics.

Take up a hobby. Join a community group. Exercise more.

There's nothing more pathetic than individuals nursing grudges against massive, immaterial forces, i.e. religion, the US, capitalism.

I actually have a job, hobbies and interests outside of geopolitics, and I'm generally a productive member of society.

Looks like someone is really upset that their country is going to shit and there's nothing they can do about it. It's okay buddy, within a decade your economy will be bouncing back with a vengeance.

Might seem harsh, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

You can get entire towns interested in growing farms quite easily if you can show them the benefits of it. (saving money mainly)
Its been happening in the UK the past year after the shitstorm of news on how badly animals were treated in those mass-farms.

I wouldn't personally favour racial segregation, but presumably if those laws got in then they would have the support of the citizens of that state. If that's the case then there's not much point having the federal govt coming in and telling them they can't do that.

    Something isnt right.

I have a serious legitimate question to pose to all of you.

Is it worth converting my savings into a more valuable foreign monetary system? Or is that just stupid because it just takes more dollars to buy the same thing?

I don't know much about the economy, but I can see the price of things going up. And it's happening. So... should I change my money out? Can I make money by doing this? Or do I just change out 1 dollar for let's say 100 pesos and then I change those peso's back into dollars a while later and it's worth 1.20 dollars, but then the price of things has increased to 1.50 dollars.... Though I'm still better off... I think I just answered my own question.

You should convert it into something that will either be the same resale price, or dearer as time goes by.

Oil would be a good one, but that is pretty costly as it is now.
But oil could probably be beaten by something else as it becomes rarer.
Depends on what risks you want to take.
