I'm sure you all have heard the news about the man that was caught with ricin in a hotel room because he accidentally poison himself and had to get to a hospital.

The more I thought about it, the more paranoid I became. It's frightening how much we depend on the good moral of others. Now I'm paranoid of staying in hotels.
I used to drink from a flask instead of water fountain because I didn't trust any janitor to clean it properly or if someone would just poison it "for the lulz". Then one day I found out my flask was welded at the bottom by lead.
Then I became even more neurotic, most restaurants don't clean any glassware properly and they get water from tap. I stop eating fast food thereafter and only cook at home, but it didn't stop there.
How do I know some sadistic employee didn't tamper with the meat on the day they got fire?

Judging from all the "job secret thread", it seems my suspicions are warranted. Most people just don't care that much about others, and we depend on them.
We have fight club channers just "doing it for the lulz" in every walk of life or people who just plain don't give a fuck about you.

You don't type very coherently. This reflects how ridiculous your thought process is. Enjoy going mad.

You might say,"this is far fetched, you're not going to get sick", but when I used to live in Asia, places that sell food have a tub of drinking water and one cup that everyone drink out of. I was sick with diarrhea and food poisoning many times a year.

Last summer when I was on vacation in Asia again, despite all my caution, I ended up with cholera. Shit was not cash. I was throwing up blood and shitting out blood simultaneously

It seems all too likely that we'll all eventually get very sick due to someone negligence or intentional malice..

    DOORKNOBS ARE PIG DISGUSTING.
THEY ARE THE DIRTIEST PARTS OF RESTROOMS AND HOTEL ROOMS.
THERE MIGHT BE REMNANTS OF SPERM ON THE DOORKNOB
    ENJOY YOUR PARANOIA.

I eat things off the floor all the time and I'm still alive.

Eaten week out of date food as well
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)00:39:03 No.2442465
It's still far-fetched. See a shrink about your OCD before it drives you fucking insane.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)00:39:17 No.2442471
I've been trying to come up with a way to minimize my chance of being victimize by someone's negligence.
I'll buy a proper flask this time that is not welded with lead. I won't eat at restaurant. I'll sleep my car wherever I travel.
All that will leave me to depending on the workers in meat packing plant and the people that cook my food in the dining hall. It seems there is no end to this madness.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)00:41:15 No.2442482
cool pic, OP. more of this set?

That's fine. I open them with a napkin, but sometimes I wonder if napkins are clean enough to wipe all over your mouth.
    >>2442458
That's not the same. You won't get sick doing that.
Whenever I used to eat at some fast-food chain, they had all high-schooler. Now they're not a caring bunch of people, sometimes I just look deep in their eyes, and I know deep down I can't trust them to prepare my food. I can't trust any of them to do anything properly. Sometimes my mother would wash the dishes, it would still look dirty. I hide my toothbrush and mouthwash from her because deep down I know how unpredictable humans are. She might have a bad day and decide to poison me. I'm going to have to start cooking my own food.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)00:46:20 No.2442521
Yeah my immune system is fairly strong. Drung plain river water that had god knows how many farms ahead of it (was a fairly big river though) water tasted, well, like river water. Haven't ever got sick from drinking it.
Likewise used to swim in farm ponds when I was kid with no health problems.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)00:49:03 No.2442541
No point in being a germophobe or being suspicious that someone might poison you. How l see it, I'm much more likely to get killed in a collision on my way to work. Sometimes you've gotta take a risk and just live your life, dude.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)00:51:47 No.2442571
    Jesus fucking christ.
You are insane and you don't even know it.
    You are fucking insane.
You are so fucking insane that it makes me angry.

You will find you cannot control all the variables in your life. You will continue to be paranoid about smaller and smaller things until your are paralyzed with fear of moving out of the room you are in.

Think of all the pesticides and industrial pollutants that people dump into the river.
    >>2442541
I call the police and report the license plate number of people who talk on cellphone. I just tell the police that they were driving recklessly and nearly wreck into another car.

From your writing style I have deduced that you are asian. This its well with the germaphobe OCD you have going on. Newflash: reporting cell phone users will do nothing towards the goal of you not getting into a crash. In fact, it may increase your chances as when you are trying to memorize their plate number you are not paying full attention to the road.

OP, if it makes you feel any better:
Ricin is quite easy too make, and the supplies needed can be acquired fairly easily.

    I don't understand.
How are you people not bother by this?
I'm not insane at all, just hypervigilant and more bit more cautious.
    Speaking of which, my laptop has a weird smell emanating from it. I wonder if it's some toxic substances that the Chinese put in. The desk I'm sitting at right now has chipped paints, too. Most days I avoid touching any part of it because I'm suspicious that the paint contains lead. ;_;

    >>2442613
Clever guy, I already told you I was Asian.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)01:06:40 No.2442703
    >>2442668
That's right. All it takes is some guy that came home from a bad day at work and some castor bean.I know how volatile human nature is. Sometimes they just snap and if you happened to be in the way, you become a victim.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/08(Mon)01:07:19 No.2442710
    >>2442592

AND HEY, WHAT DO YOU KNOW. Even with the crap that's been dumped in the river, drinking it won't kill you.

People aren't as frail as you seem to think they are.

Also, you've been going on and on about people not being trustworthy. But then you're LYING TO THE POLICE.

    >>2442673
hypervigilant is just another word for paranoid.

What you need to do is relax. Realize that your body is built to handle sickness. The chances that you will come in contact with a serious amount of deadly chemicals is almost nil. If you live in the U.S., this is what we have regulations for. There are standards for this kind of thing, keeping deadly chemicals in such low quantities that your body passes them without being affected at all.

My bastard of a brother threw a cfl light bulb into the trash bin.
Now I'm afraid to take out the trash because of mercury poisoning. I'm afraid to go near the water hose because the lead stabilizer has probably broken down in the pvc.
    I'm going insane here man :_;

At night I dream of all the homeless children in Asian burning a huge pile of trash, and I just breath it in. Breath it in like sweet death and sickness, all the dioxin :(
