I had to write a paper about a social phenomenon that arose from the movie 300 last month for my Seminar in Composition: Film class.

I wrote about 4chan.

I wrote a paper on 4chan's /y/ and /b/ mainly, as an erotic space viewed within Warner's concept of a public (and counterpublic) and as bound by Lessig's "code" ideas. I got to turn in a paper with shitloads of explicit porn in it. Paper came out OK I think. Was for a "Sex and images in the public sphere" grad class at UCI. Fappable paper, not bad, eh?

I'm supposed to be writing a research paper right now but 4chan is distracting me. I graduated from my undergraduate school in 2004 ( I didn't 4chan until mid-2006) so I never had a chance to write a paper about 4chan. But the most ridiculous class I ever took was about vampires.
