If you have been NEET for at least 1 year you must post in this thread and how you got to this point.
Education: got kicked out of the 2nd year of college
Employment: haha good luck in my area these days upstate New York/
Training: why would anyone train if there not even going to hire?

Been out of commission from society for over a year now. having absolutely no responsibilities besides caring for my younger 2 sisters and driving them to school , making them lunch when they come home is a change though. thank god I'm going back to Uni in 3 weeks though. but I think my social skills are shot.

Education: Dropped out of high school 3 years ago.
Employment: I haven't worked a single day in my life.
    Training: See above.

I just kick back all day, and relax. No responsibilities, no worries, no stress. Shit's great.

    11 months NEET. Close enough.

Very low libido, met a girl who tricked me into believing that she understood and shared similar views. Put my trust into another human being for the first time in over a decade, only to have her sneak around and fuck other guys, then start crying when I found out and claiming that I "don't put out enough" and that she "has needs". Kicked her ass to the curb and lost all faith in ever finding someone to spend the rest of my life with. Failed to register for the next semester. NEET ever since.

Education: Dropped out of community college
Employment: Never had a job in my life and now that I am older I doubt anyone would want to hire me now.

I've had failed relationships in the past but that didn't stop me from going on with life. Just because some girl cheated on you doesn't mean you should stop trying to form new relationships or deprive yourself of a normal life or proper education. Grow a fucking pair, wuss.

I started a course in English and Philosophy at a really shit uni last year - quit promptly. Made half-assed attempts to get a job, but ultimately became a NEET until September this year, where I went to do the same course at a different uni which was very well rated.

Suddenly realised I disliked the a large portion of the course content, had terrible prospects and was spending a fuckton of money on rent and living at the place I was. Very reluctantly quit about a month ago.

Been making more of a genuine effort to get a job since. I'm going to do computer science at my local uni next year (3rd time lucky, I hope.)

Being a NEET is fucking hellish. If you enjoy it, either the shit hasn't hit the fan yet or you are an immensely shallow person.

I've been learning drums for about a year now, and at this point I am trying to get into studio work, or a serious band. I also play guitar (well enough for simple rhythm work, Tom Petty style or something), and if I took vocal training again could probably do serviceable backup vocals.

I got married to a rich guy, had a few kids with him, then divorced him, got custody of his kids, most of his possessions including his car and condo, and I get child support from him.

So I won't have to work or go back to school probably until all the kids are 18 or over, but I'm sure I'll be doing okay even until I get to retire at 65.
