Well, I actually enlarged that thumbnail to look at it. My only reaction was:

1) What is it
2) How come when I had something that was like 1/1000 that size removed, it left a uglier scar.

that's pretty disgusting. i'd even go as far as saying it's probably the most disgusting thing i've seen on 4chan, and i've been here for some while.

I thought 4chan had desensitized me, but holy god, that's fucking disgusting.

r9k has made me very judgmental as i recognize patterns in society a little easier. and i've realized and either come to grips with or done away with elements of myself that ive heard discussed here. ive realized that i am not very unique.

i feel it has created a sense of identity in me also, one that is self sufficient and cares not to share its wisdom. there was a time i would rarely laugh while alone, now i seldom laugh in public.

I'm indifferent about everything.

Not much reaction from the picture. My dad's a doctor, and when I lived with him (through highschool), he'd talk about the ulcers he saw that day. We sometimes got to watch him practice giving slide shows about ulcers. (This is also why I'll never be a doctor myself.)

How has 4chan affected me? I'm better able to spot trolls, I'm less vulnerable to memes, I'm better at suppressing my power level across ALL of my kinds of nerddom, and I have a date every Saturday night.

It's taught me that I'm largely unphased by horrible imagary for one thing. (Doesn't that look so much better one the dead clump's been removed? :D )

I'm glad to just have some people to talk to for once (I discovered the site quite recently). Also being anonymous takes away the pressure of maintaining a certain image, I can't act naturally in social situations otherwise.

4chan actually helped me a lot with those images. I study medicine, and most of my co-students freak out when they see something like this. Some of them can't even see their own blood.

I mean, you're studying fucking MEDICINE and have to deal with shit like this every other day in the future.
In a way, 4chan has desensitized me, but in a positive way. Thanks 4chan.

4chan has actually helped me have heart, oddly enough.
Reading all those BAW threads where the stories of dogs dying and the earthquake in China really made me more sensitive.
I have no fucking clue how I managed to avoid it after my time here on 4chan (1 year next month), but OP's pic is pretty much one of the more disgusting things I've seen on 4chan, and I used to frequent /b/.
