OH MY GOD /tv/ I NEED YOUR HELP!
There's this movie I used to watch all the time on VHS as a kid, about dinosaurs. It was like a documentary, but with a running plot sort of tacked on. The scientist at the museum who studied dinosaurs had studied them so much, he was TURNING INTO ONE (omg!). He had scales on his arm and stuff, so they had to study dinosaurs more to discover a way to reverse the process. They then presented their findings documentary style. In the end, they weren't able to save him, but it wasn't so bad. He got a job with the museum pretending to be a animatronic model. There was a stop-motion dinosaur version of him for that.

WHAT WAS THE MOVIE, /tv/? WHO WAS PHONE?
    (Pic dinosaur related)

OP here: I thought I found it, but it turns out I found some OTHER dinosaur movie I had on VHS as a kid, with Fred Savage.

Still no luck remembering the name of the kafka-esque man turns into dinosaur children's documentary.

No one else watched crappy dinosaur "documentaries" when they were a kid? Come on, someone must have seen it! I was born in 87, so I presume it was made somewhere between then and 93, if that helps.
