Columbine was a fantastic documentary, and it pretty much began the prominence of documentaries in Hollywood. If you disagree then you're probably too stubborn to admit that he started something.

I could do without his attitude, but I like his movies because they actually get people out of their houses and into the theaters, motivated by the obtaining of knowledge.
