mentioned, keeping neighborhoods extremely far away from everything
else is very common. I don't know why it's done. Personally, I think
it's utterly ridiculous. But it's just the way things are. I'm (>>2130632), and I still haven't gotten my license, but I realize that it's probably inevitable once I start working.
It's
so fucking weird, man. Nobody I know -- absolutely nobody -- works
where they live. Everyone drives 45 minutes out, sometimes even two
hours out, just to get to work. I'm not judging 'em; I'm not surprised
that people would go to such lengths for a job, with the state of the
economy. But still. Damn. |
