hey robots, this thread is gonna be cool, just keep reading.

are any of you just really fucking lazy, like me? i'm not only really lazy, but i always procrastinate, too.

i'm considering a life of crime. not ghetto shit, but robbing the houses of rich people. have you ever seen that show "it takes a thief"? the show itsself sucks, but most of the advice they give to robbers is very good. Robbing stores is very hard because of the security systems, and pickpocketing takes great skill and balls. Houses are usually easier, but it can vary greatly. Just go for the electronics, jewlery, wallets, and purses. Most of the stuff can be sold at pawn shops or on ebay or craigslist.

My question is, how would I pay income taxes without the government catching on? Would I have to start a phony business? Or, could I launder the money some other way? Would it be best to move every couple of months? Which english speaking country would be best for this? Have any of you ever robbed a house before?

    hints and tips, discuss, etc.

I was always going to rob my neighbor next door for his Big Screen TV and his new unpackaged laptop, but I never got around to doing it, you know?

Wait... you want to turn to a life of crime, but still want to pay taxes?

Well I imagine it goes well enough until one of several things happen:

    A) You walk in and somebody in the house catches you. Then violence ensues, with either you getting your ass beat/shot, or you having to beat/shoot somebody and subsequently be hunted by the police.

    B) Some enterprising victim checks the local pawn shops, ebay, etc, for collections of his stuff. He then reports it to the police, who would probably have pretty substantial evidence pointing back to you at that point.

    C) Alarm goes off, cops show up, game end.

Also: Why pay income taxes? Just because? I would think that if you get audited either way you're screwed. I mean maybe a front home business or something would keep you a lot safer in that circumstance.

Protip: You only have to pay income taxes if you work or acquire a large sum of money/property as a gift/inheritance/lottery/whatever.

Just get a job dude...its easier than robbing houses, sure a bit more boring, but still easier. I always thought being a pickpocket just to screw with people would be fun though.

OP wants to rob houses yet thinks he still has to pay taxes with his thieved income. LOL.

Go to college and get a job like the rest of the drones, kid. You're too stupid, even for a life of petty crime.

Stealing stuff is easy. It's selling it that is the problem. Find a good fence, otherwise you're fucked.

You do not sound like you would make a good criminal. Funny thread though. I actually have that c.d.!! WTF happened to Coolio?

    >launder the money

That's the idea of paying taxes on crime revenues. It's hard to get right, but having some kind of easily falsifiable income in a legit business works wonders.
