I heard that in some black areas they have meetings at community centers where guys teach them that when dealing with the cops, you should always say they beat you up and called you a nigger. I'd assume that nobody whose been to a meeting like that knows what 4chan is, and that it's something you'd never talk about outside of the place, but I'd like to know if that actually happens.

I do not care at all about this shit. It is one big bitching festival against my second amendment rights (even though they have nothing to do with the case), "white racism TM" (even though the shooter is not even white), and hoodies (even though they have nothing to do with the event). Well, some black folks do make a lot of false racism accusations (people lie often as a rule), but I have been to meetings on dealing with the police. It was always good advice like "Do not consent to random searches.", "Address the officer as 'Officer' and 'Sir' in a polite tone.", and "Calmly meet his demands within his rights, announcing any legal weapons which you have on your person up front."

/k/ here. What this case largely comes down to is self defense claim vs, a person who might have had a self defense claim had he lived.

Was Zimmerman acting reasonably when he got out of his car and started following Martin?

Was there an argument? Who threw the first punch? Was it reasonable to throw the first punch?

Would it have been reasonable for Martin to punch somebody who was chasing him around?

There's additional sideshows, like Zimmerman getting easy treatment because his father's a judge, and whether the PD fucked up the case if they thought Martin was just a hood rat.

We'll probably never know what really happened.

Personally, I think he'll get off because there's not enough evidence that proves he acted wrong.
