Any way, I got my self pretty deeply ingrained in the community, my after school time went from playing with friends to just hanging out in this forum and their subsequent IRC Chatroom.

There was one man whom I came close with a lot more than others. Now, I didn't know too much about the guys personal life - he kept that very close to him. How ever, as we became closer he began to reveal more details, most of it just being slipped by accident. Any way, to get to the entire point of all of this, is he claimed he was part of some type of experiment to test psychic capabilities. I was enthralled by the entire thing, but I also had a bit of sceptasism. I guess he could sense that, because he immediately sent me 3 videos. Each video was rather shitty (early webcam technology), but you could still tell what was going on. The first video he had a ball in front of him, he began to bounce it, and on the third bounce he held out his hand as if to grab it, but he didn't.

He said "fine" and offered to share web cams. He was sitting there, same desk, same face, different clothes and the background was different from the previous videos, but it was definitely him. I understand how you would feel - most people would call bull shit on it, but you have to understand something. Those files are very important to me, it's more than whats on them, it's a memory. A memory of an extremely dear friend I once had; like I said we were like brothers, or at least I felt that way.

It's better than just keeping them on my computer, which can be prone to failure. It's better than just keeping it on a flash drive in my house, which can be lost, damaged, or something else entirely. With it being in the safety deposit box I feel it is a lot more secure. It could be stolen - that can certainly happen, but that's why it is encrypted.

Again, most people would see it, call it bull shit, and think that it is something worthless. If its encrypted though; no one will know whats on it and probably just destroy it. It's oddly more satisfying for some one to destroy it with out knowing whats on it than some one thinking its nothing.
