09/30/10(Thu)15:30:04 No.11336205>>11336117 There
was government evidence that Alderon was the center for Rebel
activities, and that there were secret Rebel training spots all over the
planet, in towns, cities, forests, lakes. I will admit, destroying the
entire planet was a bit much, but if the extent of Alderon's betrayal to
the Empire was so much infested into the planet, then what was done was
done.
Further, the main thing that is wrong with the rebels is exactly what you claim: >They were just a bunch of people who wanted the empire gone. The rest is up to the politicians They
don't care a wit about the universe. They just want to destroy a
government for no reason other than they don't like it, and then they'd
allow chaos and anarchy to reign, they'd allow for numerous civil wars
and planetary conflicts as nations competed with each other to succeed
the Empire. The rebels' actions would cause more blood to flow than any
other war in the galaxy. The power vacuum caused by the Empire's
destruction would murder billions of trillions for centuries, or even
millenniums!
And what if the new government that takes over is
one these rebels don't like? Will they rise up again to overthrow it, to
murder trillions more in their fight for "freedom"?
I ask you, how many must die before these rebels are satisfied? |
