Let's talk about food. In particular, let's talk about everyone's favourite.

I personally define one's "favourite food" as the one that you would gladly take over a three Michelin star restaurant meal.

So, let me start by saying that my favourite dish is rigatoni ai quattro formaggi or, less pretentiously, 4-cheese pasta. I could eat it forever.

Talk to me, robots, about your favourite dish.

    Meatloaf, maybe, or venison.
Or chicken breast that's been cooked in corn flakes, yeah, that.
    >> Anonymous 01/11/12(Wed)18:36:15 No.1065520
    Motherfucking chili.

    > Aww yeah hot and spicy just the way I like it
    > Put some beans and corn into that nigger
    > Serve with rice and cheese and tortilla chips awwright
    > Go fuck a cactus

    Nothing else compares.

I love ethnic food. I ate at a brazillian churrascaria everyday where I used to live. Its meat cooked on skewers over a fire and seasoned with sea salt. I shit you not, even the chicken hearts were delicious. Also brazillian beer.

Steak. I absolutely love cooking it.

I eat a LOT of chicken at the moment, due to meat prices going up but chicken staying pretty much the same. I mean it's pretty much a diet solely of chicken and cider for me right now.

No shit, it will sound plain, but my favorite is a nice and simple Turkey Sandwich with swiss, lettuce, tomato, and mayonaise and mustard. Served with a Mexican Coke and possibly BBQ chips on the side if I am feeling it. Local place called Leger's does it best, sometimes I put avacado on it.

No shit, could eat it for the rest of my life.

Pic related, the best food of all time. The key is to get the proportion of bean and mash correct. Too many beans and you run out of mash, too much mash and you don't have enough beans. The first one is about salvageable but not having enough beans is a complete disaster. Give me Bangers, beans and mash with too much mash, you might as well have given me a bowl of cyanide capsules with syringes sticking out. But done right, this shit is the bomb, and I don't mean no pussy 'Praise Allah' suicide bomb, I mean a proper Nuke, exploding with a fury and taste in your mouth like nothing else.

    >Mix beans and mash
    >Cut sausage in bits
    >Scoop up beany mash with bit of sausage
    >Put in mouth
    >Ejaculate in pants

    The. Greatest.

    Pozole.

At first I wasn't interested in it because I had never had hominy before and I'm kind of picky about what I eat even though its basically just corn. I tried it, and have loved it ever since.

Its fun to make for my friends that have never heard of it, because they always end up praising me for introducing it to them.

I do not have a singular favorite dish, but I have lots of go-to dishes. For Mexican I love all kinds of enchiladas. Italian is pretty similar as I love manicotti. Meatloaf is awesome with mashed potatoes and some kind of green bean. Salmon is my favorite fish to eat, but I prefer it grilled and spicy. New England clam chowder for my soup of choice. I think I'm getting hungry. I'll return to this thread when I'm done stuffing my fat face.

But I digress: as a European I was raised to believe that British cuisine is pig disgusting. Now that I came to the UK, when I try new things, even what I can assume is the shitty supermarket version, I realise that your cuisine has gotten a lot of bad rap.

Chicken parm is probably the best food ever invented.

A delicious chicken breast, fried to perfection, and THEN you put tomato sauce AND cheese on top? Kill me now, because I'm in heaven.

If I could have that with some nice garlic bread and fresh salad every night, I'd be so happy.

My favorite snack type thing is this dip that my mom sometimes makes. She calls it bruschetta dip. It's cream cheese, pesto, tomatoes, with cheese on top, all melted to perfection in the oven. So delicious. I rarely make it, though. I've been known to eat an entire dish of it in 1 or 2 sittings, it's that good.

I like curry, pretty much any of them except Korma, which is an affront to curry's good name.

If I had to pick one it'd probably be King Prawn Saag, usually with a cheese and chilli naan, and probably a Cobra beer or something. That said, I'm also partial to Madras if I feel like napalming my face.

I like Saag so fucking much that it makes me wonder if I have an Iron deficiency. I hear that your tastes change to make up for deficiencies, and I fucking love Olives too, so I do wonder.
