Hear me out, now. I'm talking about his character, not the fact that he created 4chan. He's such a humble, unassuming guy. He is aware of himself, and he goes out of his way to present himself in a dignified, down-to-earth manner. He is not an attention whore. For 7 years, he has had the chance to use 4chan as his personal soapbox, but has chosen not to. He doesn't use his power of influence to make /b/tards do his bidding. He doesn't try to make excessive profits from 4chan. He has solid, thought-out beliefs about censorship, business models, and culture as a whole, but chooses not to preach them and only shares them when asked.
He's a pretty cool guy. Someone I'd love to smoke a bowl with and watch Superbad. I don't think moot smokes weed, though, so we could just watch Superbad sober. It's fine. |
