Personally, I don't mind the occasional wankfest, but it annoys me when one some waifu thread finally dies an undignified death after two days of strategic 90 minute bumping and some fucker immediately starts another one for the same character/show/franchise, and then people dump the same fucking content as in the recently dead thread.
