depends on the board. ive been on 4chan since 06 and i was never a /b/tard. boards that actually stay on topic like /fit/, /k/, /o/, /sci/, have never appreciated racist/sexist/bigoted comments ever. sometimes some threads will pop up here and there but for the most part. anons prefer to stay on topic

This. I got into 4chan when I was 16-17 in high school. All I did was lurk for awhile and read ED articles on memes. I didn't post much for a long time.

So they just redirect back to /pol/, where opinions like that is the purpose of the board.

4chan has always had issues with /pol/new/n/'s populations, and the whole reason that board keeps coming back is because it's impossible to get rid of.

I don't know why OP is convinced that gb2/pol/ is a new thing, when /pol/'s status as a containment board has been as such for years now.

I threw up a little in my mouth just from reading that.

ED has spawned more cancer than people will ever grasp the true scope of. They were some of the biggest progenitors of forced memes, and would often spend as much time forcing memes as they would recording existing ones.

Though I do give them credit, I liked their CWC section. Beyond that was complete wank.
