What probably happened was OP got reported for the NSFW image. One of the global mods saw it in the report quque and without knowing what was going on in /v/ at the time or ever visiting the board he saw the comment and banned him for flaming without checking the image

Four days ago, I was banned for posting about nintendrones. I don't even remember what the post was about. That's how insignificant it was. The ban was just like OPs. Now, I don't know if mods just pick a few people to ban at random or what, but any thread involving video games might as well be banned for starting/participating in a flame war because if you've ever browsed a console thread, console wars always happen. They're completely unavoidable. They act like when I made this post, I had the horrific intention of derailing a wonderful thread just for my personal enjoyment. In reality, I was just pointing out an inconsistency in the arguments of fanboys.

I would love to believe that there are no fanboys on 4chan and that everyone is honest with each other, but that simply isn't possible when we have millions of posters. You're going to have some bad apples. Fanboys are real. Sonygger, Nintendrone, Sonybrony, and Nintoddler are just as incendiary as ___ fanboy. Is it against the rules to criticize fanboys and to accept that they exist? Last time I checked, trolling is illegal outside of /b/, so any time someone posts a very biased opinion, you have to assume they're being honest with you or else mods should ban them too.
