These threads are on /pol/ and posted consistently all the fucking time.

I think /pol/ should have a stated subject matter and threads that don't fit the criteria be deleted or the OP warned/banned.

I also believe ID's will hamper shitposting to a certain extent because people samefag relentlessly to push their agenda.

It's absolutely true that /pol/ needs to be subdivided, ideally into /econ/, /rel/, (religion) and /stormfags/.

I think that is one of /pol/'s biggest problems, aside from the Stormfaggotry of course; the fact that it is so generalised. If its' scope was more specific, I think that would go a long way towards cleaning up the mess.

From my experience, there has never been a serious discussion about religion on /pol/.
(Funnily enough polls some anon took revealed /pol/ is roughly 60% atheist, 30% christian and 10% other)

Almost every topic you mentioned has a copy-pasta troll bait that goes from 0 to shitpost in OP's post alone.
If they are not accepted it's generally because it's either blatant shitposting or something that has been done a million times.
Subtle shitposting on the other hand attracts threads of 300+ posts.
Please do not engage in either form of posting.

There should be a /rel/ for religion and philosophy. These faggots are always on /sci/ as well and it needs to stop.
