It's actually possible that another moderator already addressed this, but perhaps not, so I will go ahead and explain our stance on these threads. At their best, they gather a lot of unique discussion and we have no issue with them. At worst, they are spam dumps of recycled images and Pastebin links, and posters often contribute nothing new to the discussion. Increasingly, I'm seeing more of the latter and little of the former. This is not okay.

I will ask that those users interested in continuing these discussions actually discuss things. Starting a lazy thread with "here, look at these documents" is going to get it canned and it doesn't matter what it's about.
