Lately /v/ mods have become attention whores, posting multiple stickies one after the other for trivial matters or for subjects everyone knows about or nobody cares about ("E3 hype thread", "E3 next week here are destructoid photos thread", "Oculus Rift guy dead thread"), and generally acting like faggots who crave attention. Threads asking about this trend are being deleted so no discussion about this is possible on /v/.

This is fucking annoying, please stop this bullshit. If you want to start a discussion about something that interests you just start a new thread - don't abuse power to get a 3000-posts sticky with mostly empty, irrelevant comments from people who just want to post on a mod thread,

So, according to you, creating a sticky eliminates repetitive threads about a popular subject? Fuck yeah you solved one the board's main problems!
Here, let's put this to the test RIGHT NOW - make an "xbox one" sticky and give the board 48 hours and see if the 8 XBONE threads on the first 2-3 pages disappear.
Unless, of course, you're talking out of your ass. Those threads are pointless and coming from a mod it's nothing more than attention whoring from someone with the power to put up stickies. Who STILL doesn't do his job.
