But, anyways, /b/ doesn't ever, EVER, come up with Original Content. They just popularize it.

The last meme was "Delete /pol/!!" And it was more /q/ than /b/. To be honest, "delete /pol/" was /q/'s first meme.

Meme face parodies were the last big memes.

Other than that they have been recibling old content into new formats, such as you all niggas', now that's podracing, mugs, etc. It has not gotten tiresome because they have thousands of gbs worth of old OC to work with.

Though I agree with OP, /v/'s underage b& are pretty keen to create content, specially comics, and are quite proud of it.

Other major boards like /g/ and /sp/, which are big content producers are more isolated and prefer to keep to themselves.

Memes are internet-wide phenomenon and fads are phenomenon within any community.

Last fads I remember being on /b/ were doubles guy, feels threads, misogyny threads, porn threads, etc.

I think EFG's mask was the last meme from /b/ to become widespread back during chanology, along with the advice animals. Just because the whole internet doesn't want to do what a group of /b/ users do isn't necessarily a bad thing; however, it doesn't mean /b/ isn't a shithole.

If you want to improve /b/ then stop posting in threads that ruin it and create threads that improve it. You could also just use the catalog and find the good threads to post in.

If anything you can try to create a movement against the massive amount of porn threads and other such "cancers" and create pictorial propaganda attacking those who view those threads or start such threads. If they become popular enough they may become fads or spread widely as memes, making /b/ more relevant to the wider internet.
