Actually, why isn't there one? Or at least a cartoon? People say here they would gladly donate to 4chan, so that means there would be money to support it.
Now, I don't know much about the process of animation creating, just that it took around 300k for the Dick Figures animation team to create a 45mins long movie. However, they seem to be full time animators, so that's understandable. I wouldn't mind seeing a new episode every month as long as there is 4chan anime/cartoon at all.

/v/ as a character has so much potential, but the problem is that the guys who made /v/ tan really fucked up. /v/-tan is just grumpy and normal with a bullshit affinity for traps.

/v/-tan should be this guy who looks normal until you mention any one of his 5000 buzzwords. Then he morphs into a monstrosity of pure rage.

He used to be cordial with /co/, /a/, and a few others, but a few years ago /b/ infected him with dubs syndrome and he became an intolerant idiot who drove his friends away. He became awful until he his little brother and sister /vp/ broke away from him. He then tried to fix himself up, and got really close to /fit/. He changed his ways and got healthy, but the taint of /b/ was still there. He slowly declined and this was almost rectified when the middle sibling, /vg/ was born. Things were looking up for /v/, but /b/ struck again and he became pure shit. He is now in the hospital recovering from the hellishness of his ordeal. Hopefully he won't relapse.

Ok that's just a backstory that I came up with for him. I think its accurate.

/vg/ is pretty chill. We do our best to confine all the tripfags to the massive circlejerk that are the KS generals, and then the rest of us can enjoy chill ass vidya chat in peace. You can't create a persona for a *-tan, it has to come from OC, from the natural extensions of our imaginations.

Board-tans work because it's an idea of how we feel about a board, or a topic. Trying to create elaborate personalities is a moot point, because they won't transfer over well to someone who wasn't involved in the specific thread where a decision reached consensus.

On top of that, they are amalgams of the hivemind's perceptions. It needs to be something simple enough for everyone to agree instinctually. It plays on our prejudice.

The only way to actually make shit happen, is for you to create something that resonates with the users.

In the end, all these threads that try to establish personalities do, is prove that there can't be agreement on the specifics of a board-tan

So how would the "plot" begin?

I imagine moot would live in an apartment building that is Something Awful, but was thrown out because he couldn't pay rent. On his way out, he meets /a/ who happened to fall in a similar situation, though Something Awful threw him out for his indecent behaviour and general animu fanwanking.

Both of them needed to find a place to stay, and so they find an old, empty, batterred house owned by apparently no one. Sadly, no one dares enter it since it's a containment zone filled with nasty filth and garbage everywhere, including what happens to be human feces. They decided to set a new life in there since it's a free house anyway. They manage to clean it up, and live nicely in there for about a week, searching for possible jobs should the time ever arrive to pay for bills or somesuch. moot and /a/ remember watching this really cool anime, Futaba, in which some random Japanese students were stranded on an island and had to use their skills to survive, so they build up a nice little village from the ground up. Inspired by this anime, they wanted to do just that, and cooperate by earning money so they could live together.

...Then suddenly /b/ comes back. He was previously arrested for stalking children and shouting "niggers" from skyscrapers but has been relieved, and is furious two complete strangers have took over and cleaned up his home.
