It has come to my attention during recent weeks that /tv/ has become less of a place to discuss television and film, and more of a place to shitpost pictures of celebrities (nsfw or sfw) in movie threads so they can fap and whatnot. In my humble opinion a board could be made dedicated to the discussion of celebrities... >>>/cel/. If by this point you think it is just a copy of >>>/s/ I can assure you it will differ in that it will discuss the actresses and actors as a whole, rather than just post pictures of random womyns. I would also like to suggest if not /cel/ maybe new moderation on /tv/. The current mods delete any thread they want, even if it's on topic. Thank you for reading, i appreciate all the hardwork and effort it takes to keep the site open.-Sincerely, A concerned Mudkip
Did you even read the stickythe board is like 2 minutes old and already people aren't reading the sticky
>ground floor/tv/ is fine as it is. if you want more "industry" discussion then start some industry threads. celebrity pics and discussion of a celebrity's show is totally on topic.
>>56Hi there, long time listener, first time caller./tv/ is fine. Television and Film would be black & white East German Expressionism without actors & actresses who work so hard to keep us entertained.People LIKE actors & actresses; they DRAW audiences and have created an entire celebrity industry around them. They are the engine that keeps what you'd probably refer to as "the on-topic content" churning.Honestly, upping the image limit per thread and the image size on /tv/, giving the celebrity watchers a never-saging "General" (which would require moderation to keep gorespammers etc out) would completely eliminate all the issues your side of the fence seems to have with /tv/.Thanks for your time.
Nothings stopping you from making threads, make them. People might join in.The celebrity threads aren't even that big of a problem. I would post the image but the file is too large, you've probably seen it anyway. There's <30 celebrity threads on the board at any time.I agree about the mod/janitor thing though. They love to delete threads just to cause trouble.I remember one time they deleted all the images in the Oval thread but then left the thread up so everyone can know what they did.
>>192Take /cel/ stuff here I think
>>208Move discussion in the first thread about /cel/ to a thread made later?
>>208This thread is #56, that one is #192. Why would we go there except to post beautiful pictures of cute Lia? :3>>187Yes, the moderation staff has a unique idea of what a good board is. And that unique idea is, by my understanding, /v/.
+1 Q's for OP
It would be irresponsible of 4chan to accommodate the mental illness of these people. Instead, I recommend a psychology board, where they can go for free help.
