So this has been an ongoing issue on /f/. Someone keeps posting swfs of Zeitgeist crap and it's getting old.

Now they've taken to disguising the titles to fool people into clicking on them, or maybe so mods don't notice them.

Pic related. All the Flashes with the red rectangle around them are actually Zeitgeist crap in disguise.

Please don't implement Captcha again, either. This is an issue that needs an actual human janitor/mod to deal with. It seems like reporting has no effect, as the flashes remain on the page until they're pruned naturally. So I'm posting this on /q/ to bring some attention to the issue. Please do something about this.

Amen. I'm seriously getting so sick and tired of this shit. Let's all stick to this thread since it has the problem and solution spelled out most easily for moot/any mods unaware of what's going on.

Also, another thing to add, the guy usually posts four of these every day - the maximum rate you can post on /f/. And since there's only one page, each of his spam posts just speeds up how soon recent actual content 404s. I'm starting to think maybe we could use a page 2.

I'm sorry about the CAPTCHA mess. The software didn't previously support it, so at least in the future if automated posting becomes a problem we can toggle it to prevent it.
