I stickied a thread before that, which WASN'T by a trip user, because the user asked me to. I had no idea who he was. Let's call this the "getting organized for the meetup" thread.

It got too long and hard to find the meetup info. Redwood put together more concise info about it for the OP post, I removed the old sticky, and stickied the new one.

There is no favoritism going on here - just helping out the boards users who want to meet up for a major comic convention. I couldn't care less if you're a trip user or not.
